Pelvic Health workshop for
chiropractors, physiotherapists
and osteopaths

 

A training day for physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths in pelvic health- pre and post-natal which is also relevant if your client has ever given birth, changes in peri-post menopausal years can see pelvic health issues arise and on average women take seven years to seek help with pelvic health related issues.

The day will cover changes a women experiences during pregnancy and beyond including, diastasis of recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapse, c-section implications and functional core weakness.

The course will be taught by Angela Parkinson, Senior Women's Health Physiotherapist and mum of four.

Angela works for Nuffield Health in Glasgow and runs her own business Adore Your Core Physiotherapy. She has extensive professional and personal experience in this specialist area and is passionate about raising awareness of pelvic health and how all health and fitness professionals can work with their patients and clients on their journeys.

Course content includes:

+ C-section scar tissue considerations and management

+ Diastasis exercises from basic to beyond

+ Pelvic health screening questionnaire

+ Pelvic floor indicators and treatment

+ Resources to faciliate your patients pelvic health recovery

+ Core restore exercise programme

+ Functional progressions of exercises appropriate for restoring pelvic health - abdominal wall strength and pelvic floor strength

After the event you will have access to the Adore Your Core Physiotherapy Professionals private facebook group for support and to access further resources.

Cancellation Policy: Where a place on a workshop has been confirmed a 90% refund will be given for cancellation up to 4 weeks before the workshop, a 50% refund will be given for cancellation up to 2 weeks before the workshop. No refund will be given for a cancellation within 2 weeks of the workshop.
