Akruthi is an accomplished physiotherapist with diverse clinical, academic, and leadership experience spanning India and the UK. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care, with a particular passion for musculoskeletal and women’s health physiotherapy.
From 2021 to 2024, Akruthi worked in England as a Senior and First Contact Physiotherapist in musculoskeletal (MSK) and women’s health primary care settings, gaining extensive experience in managing complex cases, service development, and patient education. She has also worked closely with the geriatric population in care homes, enhancing her skills in falls prevention, frailty management, and holistic elderly care. In 2024, Akruthi relocated to Glasgow and currently works as a Senior Physiotherapist in MSK practice around Kilmarnock, continuing her commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care.
She has further broadened her skills through recent training in Acupuncture (Foundation Course), Kinesio Taping, Radial Shockwave Therapy, and advanced Pelvic Floor Assessment, and she regularly attends workshops and conferences to stay updated on the latest developments in MSK physiotherapy.
